Coffee Predictions: Current Coffee Prices Not Sustainable

Wanna glimpse into the world of specialty coffee? Well, if you been following my speculations as to why green coffee has hit an all time high on the “C” market, you are aware of the volatility of the coffee market.
Of course the real issue isn’t a supply – demand issue….but rather day traders driving the price of all commodities through the roof. Why? Because they can. Sugar, Wheat, Coffee, Chocolate, etc. are directly affected by what happens on Wall Street.
According to Howard Schultz, the former CEO who came out of retirement in 2008 to revive Star Bucks, indicates that this trend cannot last. You can listen to the BBC interview (2:04 minutes) here.
