Mercantec and Google checkout are the winners for the Bald Guy Brew shopping cart!

November 24, 2007

all right. after messing around with a wordpress plugin that just didn’t want to cooperate, we switched gears and found a great no thrills cart at mercantec. checkout and credit card processing will be handled at google check out.

it ain’t pretty, but it works.

one of the reasons why it has taken so long to get this going is primarily due to security. i wanted to make sure that your credit card junk was safe. the second reason is that custom shopping carts are expensive…if i am going to drop that much cash, i would rather spend it on stellar coffees.

still working to get-er-done by monday

new look to the bald guy brew

November 3, 2007

ok, so here is the first official wordpress blog with a semi-hacked skin. i like it! i love the look and feel of the site…makes you wanna hang out for a while…kinda like the shop.

ran into a speed bump in the importation phase of lots posts from the other site. not sure if we can make it work, except to add them one by one (this will take a long time!)

anyway, stayed tuned. we are still tweaking stuff and some of the links are dead.

so be patient and check back soon.
