Why USPS is wrong!

Well, it finally happened. Last week I was told by my friends at the local post office that a memo came out indicating that priority mail flat rate envelopes with “bulging seams” are no longer acceptable.

It appears that “if it fits, it ships” has some restrictions, even though our packages seal with out the aid of tape and are not reshaped! Granted, I tape the label on, but even the postal clerk said that this was acceptable. I have a meeting arranged with a customer service rep, however my gut tells me “no is no”.

Therefore, I will still offer free shipping on 3 or more lbs of coffee. However, if you order two lbs or less, plan on paying a flat rate fee of $5.00. I hate that I have to do this, but sometimes a man has to do what the government wants him to do.

Two new coffees just arrived today that will complement your Thanksgiving meal or help ya get out of the bed to burn off those calories at the gym! Coffee orders for two or more pounds received by 7am on Friday, Saturday, and Monday will be roasted and shipped for free that same day.

Organic Mex from Oaxaca
One of the better crops for this year, this coffee is full bodied, buttery, with a bakers chocolate and a smooth finish. Think great morning cup of Joe!

Kenyan AA Monani Estate
An excellent end of the year micro lot that has a wonderful citrus note (think lemon and peach) with a great finish.

yep, i think it is official:
we are the only roaster in boone, nc that is serving fresh roasted, fair trade and organic coffees for $1.00 if you bring your own mug, cup, or thermos. ok, don’t get too happy and bring a 30 oz thermos or a stinking beer stein…i do have a family to feed.

well, it looks like buying fresh roasted, organic and fair trade coffee from the bald guy brew coffee company will be happening here shortly…like as soon as google checkout verifies my stuff. this is exciting. now, all of our friends who visit us at the market that made their way off the mountain can still enjoy a tasty cup of the bald guy brew.
