Just a quick note to let ya’ll know that I just dropped off 18lbs of various varietals for your caffeinated pleasure: Bali, Ethiopian, Brazilian, Colombian, Guatemalan, Papau New Guinea.

Just recently, GrandFather Mountain has been designated as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society. In order to celebrate, the owners approached us to develop a gourmet coffee blend that is rugged like the mountain and friendly to eco-systems. The result: Grandfather Mountain Blend!

This year’s Banff Mountain Film Festival is living up to its billing as a GREAT collection of films that capture the spirit of mountain culture and adventure, as well as projects that are threatening fragile eco-systems. It is a great feeling to see all of our friends showing up for a wonderful evening with some BGB to fuel the adventure. Last night’s films were excellent…can’t wait for tonight!

i love wednesdays at the bald guy brew. beginning around 10:15, our international head-quarters morphs into the cooliest kid friendly coffee shop in boone! moms, (as well as a couple of dads!) kids, coffee, and gold fish fill the room as the High Country Mommies meet for fellowship, stories, and fun. it just wouldn’t feel right if they didn’t show up…thanks for putting us on your calendar!
